Here you can see the beginning of the pond border. We decided to use interlocking bricks, 2 layers wide, with both the liner and Geopad under the inner layer and over the outer layer of brick. The reason for this is so we can prevent accidental overflows from flooding our yard. Other benefits were keeping the ducks in their area better and creating a wide enough area to add a stable base for flagstone. We can also space the bricks to allow for lighting, and there's a space for the lighting wiring. It will all be hidden by the top layer of flagstone.
